Due to upcoming retirements, we have another opening at the University of Kentucky Medical Center Library.


The Health Sciences Librarian will collaborate with the Health Sciences Team to provide library services to various MCL user groups including students, faculty, and staff in the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Sciences, Public Health, Agriculture, Food & Environment (CAFE) and the UK HealthCare enterprise. This position will provide innovative services to a range of health sciences subject areas including information, education, and research activities using a variety of methods and technologies. The candidate will work with colleagues to advise clients on information sources, data management, scholarly communication, and emerging library services.

This is a 12-month, tenure-track eligible position in the Librarian Title Series which requires scholarship, professional development, and service. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. The minimum salary for a Librarian IV is $57,000 and for a Librarian III is $62,500.
